Authentic sells high quality audio equipment and accessoires.

Unless otherwise stipulated in writing by us, every order implies that the customer or client formally agrees to these terms and conditions, which he expressly declares to have taken note of and of which he expressly accepts the opposability. Our general terms and conditions apply, even if our offer or the agreement has not been signed by the customer or client. Any stipulation contained in order forms, letters and other documents issued by the customer or principal, which is contradictory or incompatible with these terms and conditions, will not be enforceable by us, unless deviating and prior written agreement to the general terms and conditions has been allowed, cannot prevent their full application.

Payment terms:

Invoices must be paid before delivery, unless stated otherwise in the invoice or otherwise agreed. In the event of non-payment or incomplete payment on the due date, interest of 1,5% per month on the invoice amount will be due by operation of law and without notice of default from the invoice date. In addition, an additional compensation for non-payment of 10% of the invoice will be due.

At Authentic online purchases are not possible which is why the cooling off period of 14 days after purchase does not apply. Retention of title:

The sold, delivered or installed products remain the exclusive property of Authentic untill full payment of the invoice issued by the store. Notwithstanding this retention of title, the risk of loss or damage passes to the customer upon taking possession of the products.

Terms of delivery:

Delivery and installation of the audio equipment is done by Authentic’s own delivery service. This service is not for free. For the exact costs, please contact the employees of Authentic. If the customer indicates this during the order, Authentic can put the devices into service on an adapted an already existing connection. Costs for any additional equipment required for the connection will always be charged. In the event that additional, technical or aesthetic intervention is required, the buyer must have these works carried out in advance. This mainly concerns the installation of custom install.

Transport of the goods:

The transport of the goods is at the risk of the customer or client, even if the goods are sent carriage paid. Damage to our delivered goods or work performed caused by willful misconduct, unauthorised and incorrect use or maintenance by the customer or client, changes to the original performance and any circumstances attributable tot the customer or client release us from any warranty.

Guarantee:

The manufacturer’s warranty of the relevant brand applies to all products that Authentic sells. When purchasing, you can inquire about this through the employees of Authentic. This warranty does not cover:

-damage to a product that occurs while in the hands of a carrier, seller or consumer and is not due to defect in materials or workmanship.

-damage to an audio product due to normal wear and tear.

-damage or defects resulting from improper or unreasonable use (including repairs or alternations to products by anyone other than Authentic)

-damage, defects, deterioration, malfunction or failure to confirm to specifications due to :

a : accident, natural disaster, misuse, negligence or unauthorised product modifications

b : improper installation, removal or maintenance or failure to follow the instructions provided

c : any cause other than a material of manufacturing defect.

All disputes will be submitted to the Courts of the District of Brussels unless a written arbitration or mediation agreement has been concluded.
