Rega is a company that enjoys being different. Their ideas might seem strange at first, but everything at Rega is geared to fulfill our mission statement, which is quite simple; “We aim to make high quality products that faithfully reproduce music and sell at sensible prices”.
The journey starts here…

Rega Planar 1

Rega stays true to its sound: a spritely, entertaining turntable with no obvious flaws. The Planar 1 gives you a good amount of detail, it’s rhythmic an expressive and easy to put together. This classical turntable is absolutely affordable.

Rega Planar 3

An ameliorated version of the Planar 1 with the same look but with a glass platter and an inflexible connection between the tonearm mount,  platter and motor to keep vibrations to a minimum.

Rega Planar 8

A whole different design in comparison with the Planar 1 and 3 and inspired by the Rega Naiad. . The 8 has a new main bearing assembly, which uses a single-piece aluminium sub-platter and hardened tool steel spindle running inside a custom brass housing. The platter is like a work of art and its mass leads to better results while creating more of a flywheel effect to smooth out any small speed fluctuations.

Rega Planar 10

The key difference with the 8 is the ceramic stiffening brace between the bearing and arm. The sound is honest and insightful, the turntable is rhythmically driven and dynamic and has an impressive engineering.
